Laury Carrier

Laury, came from the area of Pestel when she was only 2 years old. Her parents could no longer able to care for her and she was suffering from severe malnutrition and a serious heart condition, as well as other medical issues. She also had Tuberculosis and was transferred to the hospital for care. Even though Laury has spent much of her young life in the hospital causing her to be behind in school she still works hard at school.  She is excited about learning to read.  Laury’s favorite food is rice and she loves to draw in her free time.
