Benson Laguerre

Benson arrived at New Life Children’s Home severely malnourished. His aunt said she didn’t think he would make it through the rough ride to the children’s home. Upon arrival, Benson was hospitalized for over 2 months. He suffered from many ailments, including severe infection, scabies, and scars from chicken pox. However, through prayer, proper medical attention and consistent care Benson came to himself. Benson’s life has transformed tremendously from the time he initially arrived to now. He is a healthy and joyous 9-year-old. He is doing well in school with Math being his favorite subject. He loves riding a bike and dancing.
